Dear Esteemed Members of the Japanese Society of Lactic Acid Bacteria,

     I am honored to address you as the newly appointed President of the Japanese Society of Lactic Acid Bacteria, and I extend my warm greetings to each of you. First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in me to lead this esteemed society.

     The Japanese Society of Lactic Acid Bacteria is dedicated to advancing the research and disseminating knowledge of lactic acid bacteria, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the health and well-being of the public. In particular, lactic acid bacteria play a crucial role in our bodies by improving immune function and helping maintain a healthy digestive system. Our mission is to further advance lactic acid bacteria research and to share its findings with the public.

     As we embark on this new chapter, I am committed to working closely with all of our members to drive our society forward. Our activities will encompass a wide range of initiatives, starting with publishing and sharing research papers, and facilitating the exchange of the latest research findings and knowledge. Additionally, we will continue to organize annual academic conferences, research seminars, and other platforms for discussions and exchanging of ideas. Furthermore, we will place a strong emphasis on supporting young researchers and providing guidance to students to nurture the next generation of scientists in the field.

     I pledge to collaborate with all members to invigorate the Japanese Society of Lactic Acid Bacteria and enhance its overall vitality. Your valuable opinions and suggestions will be earnestly considered as we strive to elevate the quality of our society’s endeavors. Moreover, I recognize the importance of strengthening collaborations beyond our society and will actively seek partnerships with relevant organizations and international research institutions to advance lactic acid bacteria research.

     Lastly, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all members who have supported the growth of our society. It is through your unwavering dedication and cooperation that our society thrives. I sincerely ask for your continued understanding and support as we work together to make the Japanese Society of Lactic Acid Bacteria an even more vibrant and influential organization.
